Jimmy Wilcox got his start playing with Patty Smyth in Scandal. He moved on to Rick Derringer's band playing on some his most classic albums. He joined Blue Öyster Cult in 1985, playing on the Club Ninja album and resulting tour. He left the group in 1986. Since that time his biggest work has been for Alan Merrill.
